Business Support

Tamar Science Park has always strived to be at the forefront of innovation and technology through the provision of added-value services. We pride ourselves on our ability to support young and growing businesses, providing dedicated on-site business support and access to industry specific contacts and resources. 

We are developing a range of new services including a pool of high quality business coaches and mentors, investment offerings and a programme of events, most of which will be free to Park clients. The aim of all of these services is to accelerate the creation, growth and investment in high quality businesses and ideas, and create wealth and jobs in the South West.

The GAIN portal will be the entry point to GAIN, and will deliver benefits for businesses, people with ideas, investors and partners. Video will be increasingly used to disseminate content to a wide audience, and Tamar Science Park clients will receive a regular newsletter summarising key events, sector specific opportunities and other information.

Plymouth University offers many specialist services to Tamar Science Park clients including Knowledge Transfer Partnership, Business Enquiry Service, Business Ideas Challenge, and the Entrepreneurship Programme.
