The future at Tamar Science Park is an ongoing process of planning and development. Each phase brings incredible opportunities not only for the existing companies within the Park, but for Plymouth itself.

Stage One of the exciting new Phase 4 development is now open for business with two further stages still to be completed. This multi-faceted £30m project will ensure that the Park, currently the only science park in Devon, continues to play a pivotal role in the economic development of Plymouth and the South West region and takes it one step closer to its aim of being acknowledged as 'the' outstanding science park in the U.K.

Stage One of Phase 4, costing £11.7m, has been funded by the Park together with grants from the South West RDA and EU Objective 2 funding (GOSW). The development incorporates a state-of-the-art Data Centre, pre-incubation space ('Launch Pad'), Bistro (‘ParkCentral’), Travel Hub, including showers, and further space to let. Future stages of Phase 4, it is envisaged, will include a Science Learning Centre, which will encourage Plymouths young people to develop an interest in science and enterprise.

Phases 5 & 6

These development plots provide an opportunity for bespoke developments that would ideally suit a 'HQ' single building occupier, and provide an ideal environment for any established knowledge-based organisation, looking for a high profile site within the South West. Tamar Science Park works with its relevant partners to capture such inward investment opportunities.
